Making Safety the Normal Way of Doing Business
Thanks
to our superior safety program we
have been accepted as a member of the OSHA Partnership program; we were only
the fifth general contractor in north and east Texas to achieve this elite level
of accomplishment. We have led the way on a wide range of safety initiatives,
collaborating with AGC and OSHA to improve the safety, security and productivity
of jobsites all around the state. Bob Moore Construction employees take our own
jobsite safety very seriously; the standards we require of our employees and subcontractors
frequently exceed OSHA requirements. Through training, monitoring and motivation
we are making safety the normal way of doing business at all Bob Moore jobsites,
and our safety program is considered one of the best in north Texas. Our program
has been formally recognized in 2008 when our company's safety director received
the prestigious QUOIN
/ AGC Safety Director of the Year Award.

LEEDing the Way on Green Building in Texas
Bob
Moore Construction has recognized the need and business advantage offered by environmental
convervation and responsibility. Recent projects have featured environmental solutions
like creative engineering to facilitate rainwater recapturing and recycling and
powerful stormwater retention systems for buildings near high-pollution settings.
In 2007-08 Bob Moore Construction managed the demolition of a large abandoned
mall as part of their Pioneer 360 Business Center project; more than 95% of the
materials removed during demolition of the mall will be recycled rather than discarded.
Bob Moore Construction is a member of the USGBC and was the first company in Texas to become a Platinum Member of the USGBC North Texas Chapter. In addition, Bob Moore Construction employs a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) and several more professionals who have earned the Green Advantage Commercial Environmental Certification as part of the company's full-time staff, to facilitate the certification process on any project where LEED will be implemented. By adding a LEED AP to the roster of the company's construction professionals, Bob Moore Construction has demonstrated its commitment to ensuring that environmental responsibility, along with the jobsite safety, legal and ethical business practices, emphasis on quality construction and focus on budget and schedule, is offered on every project we build.
